Product Description
Split-type solar street lights are typically equipped with batteries. Compared with underground battery installations, mounting the battery on the light pole eliminates the need for excavation, significantly reducing construction complexity and overall project costs. In some regions, this suspended design is also used to prevent battery theft or damage. However, installing the battery on the pole increases the weight and load on the structure, so the pole must be manufactured with a larger diameter and thicker materials to ensure stability and safety.
Since the battery box is directly exposed to sunlight in this design, it is recommended that the operating temperature does not exceed 55°C. When the temperature becomes too high, the battery will stop working until it cools down. Therefore, in high-temperature regions, we still recommend using underground battery installations to prevent performance degradation or damage caused by direct sunlight.
The complete solar street light system has a service life of over 8 years and comes with a 5-year warranty, covering the solar panel, light fixture, pole, battery, embedded components, cables, and other related accessories. The product is shipped in bulk and assembled on-site following the installation guide. Each unit takes approximately 30 minutes to install, and equipment such as cranes, loaders, or small excavators should be prepared in advance to ensure efficient installation.
